Offshore Drilling Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Offshore Drilling Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drilling operations and engineering, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities:

• Develop drilling programs and procedures to ensure safe and efficient drilling operations
• Supervise and coordinate the drilling operations on the offshore platform
• Monitor and analyze drilling data to make necessary adjustments to the drilling program
• Provide technical support to the drilling team and other departments as needed
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Participate in incident investigations and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore drilling operations
• Strong knowledge of drilling engineering principles and practices
• Experience with drilling software and drilling simulators
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, offshore environment
• Must have valid HUET (Helicopter Underwater Escape Training) and survival training
